Giving is one of the central themes in the Bible. Jesus talked more about this subject than Heaven, Hell or prayer. To understand what it means to be a Christ-follower, we must also understand what it means to be a giver. Please contact us at 337-839-8889 or onlinegiving@oscfamily.com with any questions concerning online giving.

First Things First

The first belongs to God. We find this principle all through God’s Word. Tithing, giving God the first ten percent of our income to the local church, is the primary way we acknowledge that God is first. (Proverbs 3:9,10).

Know Giving, Know Life

Giving is the antidote for materialism. Whereas the tithe is giving ten percent of your income to the local church, an offering is given out of the ninety percent of your income. Therefore the offering is giving over and above the tithe. The Bible says that by giving generously we are able to "take hold of the life that is truly life." You aren’t really living unless you are freely giving. (I Timothy 6:18,19)

The Treasure Test

Giving is the only area in the Bible where God invites us to test Him. Give your tithe (the first 10% of your income) to God and see if He does not open the floodgates of heaven to bless you in ways that you never dreamed possible. (Malachi 3:10)

An Eternal Investment

Even when the stock market is down, you can make an investment that pays dividends for a lifetime and beyond. By investing in the life-changing message of Jesus, you can leverage your money for eternal purposes. (I Timothy 6:7)

Purpose

In today's fast paced world we continue to look toward technology to help simplify our lives. This is the driving force behind Our Savior's Church providing another avenue for church members to invest in the kingdom of God.

Getting Started

Beginning to give online is made simple and secure through the creation of your own personalized user ID and password. The simplicity comes in when you visit the site repeatedly. Instead of re-entering your basic information upon each visit, the information is stored and automatically retrieved each time you log into the online giving tool. Also, the use of a user ID and password guarantees that all information and transactions are secure at all times. To set up your user ID and password click the link below or to the right and complete the form. Our system will walk you through the rest.

Giving Options

Once you are registered with the online giving tool, you will have the opportunity to explore giving options. The interface will allow you to easily choose which church fund to give to, such as Tithes and Offerings (General) or Imagine a Place Building Campaign (IAP). You can choose to give via Visa or Master Card, debit and credit cards, or through an automated draft directly from your checking account. Your options don't end there, however. You will notice that you can either give once or set up reoccurring giving on a yearly, quarterly, monthly, twice a month, or weekly period of your choice.
