Our large family is comprised of smaller Life Groups doing life together. By providing a source of friendship and support, a Life Group is your key to developing relationships with those who share your interests and who are walking through similar stages of life.
Life Group leaders are people just like you who are committed to their growth as believers and passionate about the growth of others. From lifeʼs moments of celebration, to moments of difficulty, and through the day-to-day, Life Groups continue to be the hands and feet of the ministry to families at OSC.
Groups meet throughout the month in homes, businesses, restaurants, or on the running track, golf course, etc. – wherever their interests lead. We were never designed to live this Christian life alone. Youʼll never fully experience all that Our Saviorʼs Church has to offer until you connect in a Life Group!

What are Life Groups?
A Life Group is your key to developing relationships with those who share your interests and who are walking through similar stages of life. With an emphasis on smaller community, the life groups at Our Saviorʼs Church continue to change and develop with the interest and needs of our family.
What are the groups about?
Some of the most common groups include:
- People who share the same stage of life
- People who share common interests
- People who seek to develop specific areas of their life
Our groups are as varied as we are; groups utilize their gifts and passions to create environments that allow others to join with them in serving God. Whatever your age or interest—Bible study, cooking, prayer, missions, running, raising children, you name it—we've got a group that's just right for you, and they meet all over the city.
When can I join one?
Essentially, any time. We are doing life together. Come on board as soon as you can and stay for as long as you like. Periodically throughout the year, new leaders are trained and new groups are formed providing a great starting point for those interested in joining a brand new group. Find a group, contact the leader, and get going!
Where do they meet?
OSC Life Groups exist where people live life - all throughout the Acadiana Region. Most groups meet in homes, although there are several that meet at area businesses, parks, restaurants or at our church facility.
Who can participate?
Life Groups are open to everyone in the community. In fact, some families were introduced to Our Saviorʼs Church through one or more of our Life Groups.
When do they meet?
OSC Life Groups meet at various times each week. There are groups meeting in the daytime as well as in the evenings. See the Life Group Directory for more information.
